Welcome Adelle. You are new to posing in front of the camera. How did this shoot come about and what was the experience like?
The shoot was planned through Renier van der Westhuizen last year already but I couldn’t make it and had to reschedule a few time. Renier said to me that he would not give up on a shoot with me as he really wanted to shoot with me no matter how long it would take. One day I sent him a message to let him know I was ready and has time. He was stoked and we planned. I was very exited, Renier more than me I think [laughs]. My make-up and hair was done which was very exciting, we then hit the road, got to an insane location and I was pumped and ready for the camera. It was amazing, I had more fun than anything else and made them laugh more than anything else.

What was going through your mind while you were showing your sexy self off in front of the camera?
I was ready to have some fun baby [laughs]. I was really excited and everything came naturally. I showing of what the Lord  gave me [wink wink].

How did you feel posing for the camera?
I felt very comfortable and felt like it was just me and the camera. Making the people around us blush [laughs]. It was a thrill and I loved it.

What were your thoughts when we approached you to feature as our LW Babe of the Week?
I was like “hell yeah”! I was very happy and could not wait to be featured, I mean what girl wouldn’t?

You will no doubt gain a lot of new fans with these photos. Any words for them?
I would say “stick with me and I will make you famous”.

Give some insight into Adelle Kriel? What drives her, what turns her on, what excites and disappoints her?
I’m a very outgoing person and love to be around positive people. I am best at always being positive no matter what comes my way. A turn on for me would most certainly be fit men and tattoos. OMG… tattoos! Not too much but my weakness would be a sleeve tattoo. What disappoints me most is when I don’t wake up with a smile on my face, cause I am a ball of energy and always make people laugh. So if I don’t wake up feeling that way I am very disappointed.

You are a Cape Town girl. How do you think that differs you from girls from other parts of SA and would you ever move to another city?
I am my own unique self and love who I am, I don’t compare myself with anyone. I don’t think I would ever move out of Cape Town but I wouldn’t say no to a new chapter and a new road.

The question that we’re pretty sure all our readers are dying to know. Are you single?
Yes [laughs].

What type of guy is your panty dropper?
Definitely a guy with a strong personality, confidence and a good body. Damn I can’t look past that [laughs]. Oh…and a sleeve tattoo. To top it off, a sports car is a good panty dropper.

Since I’m in sales I do that naturally everyday so interviews for me are generally easy. I’m very comfortable in my skin and know what I’m good at, and that’s mostly everything! Focusing on why they would benefit of having me aboard normally does the trick.

How would you categorise yourself as a person?  
Definitely an extrovert that loves to be around people. I’m a bit ADHD so the word “fast” as an adjective describes me pretty well. I’m also very down to earth and love to make people feel special and important.

My boyfriend, my 3 sons, chilling, presents and making a difference in someone’s life in some way

You have a very unique name, tell us about it and its origin?
Yeah, there’s only about plus minus 300 Laudi’s in the whole world, if the pie chart I got from Google is to be trusted, definitely one of a kind. It’s Latin and means ‘with praise’.

Tell us what you get out of posing for the camera and how do you feel when doing it?
It’s all about the duck face pout [wink]. Definitely the end product of a great picture that tells a story. A lot of factors make it either a good shot or a great shot. To have all the factors for a split second come together for that one amazing photograph is what it’s about. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my work so I hope to tell the story of what the photographer wants from me. Modeling is a job and the feeling that goes with it is to portray the story.

In your opinion, what makes a model sexy?
To be comfortable in her own skin and in front of the camera. I think a certain degree of class makes a model sexier than revealing it all.

What do guys want?
3 things – Money, to be a football or rugby player, and a supermodel.

If you could be anything you wanted for a day, what would it be and why?
A man, just to confirm that they really are less complicated than they say they are, and that they really can’t read our minds.

What one thing makes you go weak at the knees?
Very superficial but good tattoos and lean muscles. Oh and V-lines. I know it’s more than one but I can’t choose.

What does a day in the life of Laudi consist of?
Visiting hospitals and being in theatre, driving, more driving and a bit more driving. I did 45 000km’s in one  year!

Where did your shoot with Lyle Simes take place and what are your thoughts on the outcome?
My latest shoot with Lyle was at an abandoned building in the Westville area. The building held places for interesting and beautifully lit areas that we could play with. I loved the outcome of the shoot. I learnt so much and enjoyed working with Lyle as we met our aims with regarding the photos. They came out beautifully, Lyle is so talented!

What would your ultimate shoot consist of and where the location be?
Sports Illustrated swimwear and lingerie is on my list of goals to achieve. I love the tropical beaches and stunning locations they use and it will also be great way to travel and see places out of Durban.

What have been some of your highlights of 2014 and have you thought of any resolutions for 2015 yet?
I’ve had many fun times that stand out in my memory that could be regarded as highlights. Fantastic family holidays to Bazaruto Island and the Drakensberg. I’m happy with the progress in my graphic design portfolio and my modelling portfolio, including the front cover of Mango Airways Magazine.
For 2015, I plan more of the same, but specifically to finish my degree.

With the holiday season around the corner and the masses coming to your neck of the woods, what are you looking forward to and what are you not looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to the festivities out and around the town, the big partying events and the new and interesting people. I am not looking forward to the traffic, and those short lumo beach shorts? come on boys! [Laughs]

Based in Umhlanga, do you take advantage of the Matric holiday parties and join in on the craziness? Or what’s your take?
I don’t join in with the Matric holiday parties, or Rage as it can be called. I’ll be taking to my own spots around the town and whatever comes my way.

What did you get up to for your Matric holiday?
Sho seems like quite a while ago that [laughs]. I had a lovely Matric holiday with all my girlfriends, catching some sun, sipping on cocktails, meeting the hotties and dancing to our hearts content. We went to the beaches, clubs and played many hilarious drinking games. We were based in Salt Rock.

What are your favourite apps on your phone and why?
I’ve just acquired an iPhone and am still exploring. I have never been one for apps so I just use the necessities.

If you could choose any era to grow up in, which would it be and why?
Hmm… probably this one! I love the trends and the music currently. I don’t see myself dancing in the 70’s in bright tie-died bell-bottoms. I think I’d be more suited to the present day and future ways of living rather than the past.

Which part of your body is your favourite and which gets the most attention from the opposite sex?
My favourite part of my body is probably my green eyes. The part that gets the most attention from the opposite sex would be.. um.. my breasts… [laughs].

When it comes to the opposite sex, what makes you go weak at the knees?
A sexy dark stubble on a dark featured man.

What’s your tell tale sign when you’re into someone?
I guess my body language.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
I see myself having attained my degree, having travelled with my friends. Perhaps settling down in a nice apartment near the beach, modelling and utilizing my graphic design talents.

Social media is great for marketing and networking. I personally believe it distances ourselves from reality and the now, but is addictive and can be great if used wisely.

Photographic modelling is the field I most enjoy working in. Have u seen how short I am, I cannot do ramp work.

I can’t date superheroes. I have a thing for villains [laughs].

Guys who are way to confident, it comes across as arrogant. Just come say hi and be yourself.

How long have you been modelling for and how did you get into it?
I did my first photo shoot during April in 2014 with Manic Creations, from there on I did a few more photo shoots, got sponsored by a new upcoming supplement brand and did a few music videos. I then decided to get into the fitness scene. So I guess you could say around a year and I am still loving it.

What do you recall your first ever shoot being like?
It was so much fun. I once saw a quote that said it would be a shame for a woman to get old and not know what she is capable of. Nothing can make you feel more beautiful and stunning than a great photo shoot, dressing up and having fun.

How did that compare to this recent shoot with Manic Creations?
Since my first shoot with Manic Creations to the most recent shoot, I have got a lot more experience and I’ve learned a lot. But I will say that both shoots were really successful. I did enjoy shooting on the beach more than in a studio, but hey, who doesn’t love the beach?

What’s your secret to keeping your body in such good shape?
Hard work and dedication. There really is no secret to it.

What are your pet peeves when it comes to training and eating clean?
Getting up early before work to go train and not being able to eat my favourite chocolate. I am definitely not a morning person and I’m a self-diagnosed chocoholic.

What does a day in the life of Janine consist of?
Well I get up early in the mornings to go train then get ready for work. A lot of you might think that auditors are boring, but I can assure you we are definitely not. I get to see plenty of different places and people and we’re hardly in the office. When I get back home and watch some of my favourite series. On weekends I try to do as little as possible and spend time with my Boyfriend.

If you could walk into your dream job today, what would it be and why?
To be a famous movie star/model or become a fitness pro. I really enjoy modelling and fitness so would love to combine the two and make a life out of it.

What type of guy grabs you attention?
A self-assured well-mannered and successful man. There is nothing more attractive than a confident man that respects women. If he goes to the gym, that helps too. But I already have a man that fits all of the above so he keeps my attention.

Do you think girls chit chat about the opposite sex can be just as descriptive and nitty-gritty as guys chit chat?
To be honest I have never been one for chit-chat or gossiping with the girls. If you like someone or something go for it, don’t sit around and just talk about it.

That’s my secret, cannot give away the surprise before Valentine ’s Day.

I am planning on competing again later this year and focus more on my fitness career. I enjoy it a lot and it’s very rewarding.

I get up at 6am usually to go exercise, sometimes earlier. I have coffee and then get in my gym clothes.

What are your guilty pleasures?
Smoking, sleeping in and having girls nights.

What’s your favourite meal, desert, sweet, drink on cheat day?
Sundays are cheat days so I’ll have wine, a huge traditional Sunday lunch and desert. I’m a sucker for red velvet cheesecake.

When it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, what advise do you have for others?
Balance. It’s something that took me forever to learn. When I cheat, I make sure I exercise harder or longer. What goes in, I burn off. I don’t starve or deprive myself. I listen to my body and have that sweet or salt thing I’m craving, but only if I have actually worked hard and haven’t skipped a day of exercise. I need food to fuel me and I need to exercise to burn those calories.

What was the last thing you Googled, and did you find the answer you were looking for?
I Googled nail art tutorials. Found what I was looking for but realised I needed to go brush shopping. Got what I needed to practice the nail art but then didn’t have the time. I’ll get to that.

Name a trend you just don’t get, and why?
I love trends and I usually follow some of them and hold onto other trends longer, but I don’t get why people wear those horrible platforms from the 90′s. It wasn’t cool back then and it’s still not cool. I won’t be caught dead in those.

What one thing do you do badly that you wish you could do well?
I wish I was fitter so that I could run farther, or attempt to do races but it’s just not happening. I wish I was better at sports.

What is some of the best advise you have ever received?
“Remember, with rejection comes direction”.

What are your turn-ons?
A well-groomed, romantic, tall-dark-and-handsome man with a dress sense and smells good. Intelligence, ambition, humour, maturity with not a drop of arrogance in sigh. And if he can cook and dance, bonus.

If you could bed any local celebrity, who would it be and how raunchy would it get?
OMG. I wish I could answer this but I’ll get in so much trouble! [laughs].

You’re in a competition where the first model to turn a guy on wins. What’s your tactic?
I’ve been in a relationship for so long that I have forgotten how to flirt with men. I guess I’ll play hard to get. It used to work for me back in the day when I counted on my mojo.

What exciting plans do you have for 2015 and what are you looking forward to achieving?
I’m doing my first TV presenting job this year and production starts in April. It’s a new model search show that will be on SA TV and live streamed to Australia. We are going to 12 high schools across the Western Cape where we will scout for potential models. They will then move into a house for a few weeks and given tasks and opportunities which will prepare them for the world of modeling. On more about that you’ll have to wait and see but it’s going to be very entertaining. I will be the presenter of the show. It’s called SnapShots Model Discovery. Go check them out on Facebook.

Tell us a bit about your shoot with Lyle Simes Photography?
It was an amazing shoot! Everything from the weather to the lighting was perfect that day. Lyle is a very easy person to work with and get along with so every shoot with him is a great one.

How comfortable were you getting into the water and posing for the camera?
At first you feel like you can’t do anything because you have nothing to work with but water, but it becomes every easy very quickly.

What’s your take on girls taking and posting selfies?
I say go for it! If you feel good then post away. Every girl loves a good selfie.

The zombie apocalypse hits planet earth. What would you do to make sure you survive?
Probably turn into the ultimate ninja, shut my eyes and just swing away. There’s no way I would let those things near me.

Is there anything you wish you could do like a guy?
Having the ability to eat the way men do! I just love the thought of eating as much as I please and not have to worry about it all going to my hips.

If you had to ask us a question, what would it be?
Who was your favourite LW babe of the week?
LW Mag: That’s is extremely hard for us to answer, there are just so many and we don’t have any specific favourite. The babes that like to have fun with their interviews and are a pleasure to have on set tend to stand out. We each have different likes though – blondes, brunettes, boobs ,bums ,etc.

What is one of the lamest pick up lines that almost worked on you?
Did you sit in a pile of sugar? Cause you have a pretty sweet ass. But it most definitely didn’t work!

You’re in a relationship. In your opinion what are the do’s and don’ts when it comes to making it work?
Try keep your relationship exciting, don’t get lazy. Always trust your partner. If you trust each other everything else becomes easy.

What’s your tell tale sign that you want some action from you man?
That is a secret that only my man knows.

How will you be spoiling him this Valentine’s Day?
I am terrible with surprises, so unfortunately I can’t give my surprise away this time. It’s the first time in forever that he hasn’t figured it out.

What items can you not leave home without?
My cellphone obviously, and a hair brush. My hair is extremely curly so having a hair brush handy is always a good idea.

Lets kick things off by talking about your shoot with us. What was the experience like?
The shoot with LW was a most unexpected and flattering opportunity. Working with Morag and Hotlens was sexy, professional and not to mention a back breaking experience as Neil patiently tried to flex this body into untold positions which most certainly added a good laugh sesh on set.

What scene do you think was the sexiest and why?
When other little girls wanted to be ballerinas, I wanted to be taking the lead and controlling boys and boardrooms so that being said, I found the library scene to be where I was most represented as it defines strength and challenge.

We have to admit that you have a banging body. How much work do you put in to Keep it looking so good?
I work extremely hard on my daily aero chocolate consumption, however 2015 being a whole new challenge both personally and career wise for me. I have been inspired to attempt to break some habits and get into a fitness routine consisting of spinning and strength endurance training, however all in moderation, as with any success in life, consistency is key.

Which part of your body is your favourite and which part do you think get the most attention from the opposite sex?
My favourite part of my body would most certainly be my eyes as they represent conscience and truth.  As for which part I get the most attention from…well you tell me.
LW Mag: Umm… we’re finding it hard to concentrate and are battling to answer that question.

What part of a guys body does it for you?
I have always been attracted to wit and intelligence not necessarily any particular body parts but in saying that, a man with strong arms to hold me down would most certainly make me melt.

You run your own successful business. Give us some insight into that and how you got into it?
I have always had a love and passion for scents, elegance and style, and coming from a family of entrepreneurs, it was only natural that I went against the grain of mediocrity and pushed myself into starting and developing my own business which included importing and wholesaling original designer fragrances. I am presently working on launching a ladies high fashion jewellery range that will be directed at ladies who are confident enough to make a statement in a sexy and elegant way.

What drives you to be successful?
I am constantly driven by a need to challenge myself personally and knowing that everyday happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.

Have you got your eye on any other business opportunities in the near future?
I do and it involves a sexy European sun care and cosmetology brand that is sure to make all your readers relish in the sizzling summers to come.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be and why?
Animal and child abuse, as it is a cowardly act that deserves only the most severe and ruthless of consequences.

What does your idea of a perfectly sensual evening with a guy entail?
I like my privacy so a night in with some vino, some good tunes and as for the rest.. “a lady never tells”.

You’re fairly new to the modelling scene. What attracted you to it and what would you like to get out of it?
I’ve always been intrigued with the art of capturing a moment in a photograph. Whether I’m behind or in front of the camera I’m excited to take part in creating something beautiful…and I kinda like getting dressed up [laughs].

What did you think of your shoot with Hotlens Photographic?
My shoot with Hotlens photographic was a new experience for me. When I was feeling awkward, nervous and shy Terry and Neil made me feel confident and beautiful.

Tell us a bit about your career in make-up and how you got into it?
I’ve always been a fan of horror movies and fantasy movies and being able to create that kind of stuff myself with make-up and special effects. It transports me to a whole new world. It’s exciting for me. I’ve also always taken pride in how I look and I am a perfectionist so I had to know all the tricks of the trade on how to make a woman (or a man) even more beautiful.

What type of make-up work do you enjoy doing the most, and why?
I enjoy the special effects part of it most because it’s always new, always interesting and always a challenge.

When doing make-up for a model shoot, is it easier to do your own or to do it on a model?
Well in all honesty it depends on what kind of make-up I’d be doing. But it is always a challenge doing make up on a model because you have to make them like how they look, the photographer must be happy and I have to be happy with it.

Where would you like to see this career take you?
I would love for this career to take off because it is something I enjoy doing and have a passion for. Hopefully in the near future I won’t only be working for South African movies.

If you could do the make-up for any 2 celebrities, who would it be and for what event would it be?
Lady gaga – she’s always doing something crazy and interesting for any kind of event.
Chris Hemsworth – I would do anything to touch that gorgeous face (and body) especially if it were for a movie.

What one thing gets your adrenaline pumping no matter how many times you experience it?
Love. Whether it’s family, friends or a lover. If I love you, I love you to the fullest. I am most passionate with the people I love. No matter what situation, love gets my adrenaline pumping more than anything.

When it comes to the male physique, what are your turn ons and turn offs?
Turn on – gorgeous eyes, gorgeous smile, great bum and a sexy muscular back!
Turn offs – nasty toes and a hairy back/ backside!

If guys could be girls for a day, what do you think they would get up to?

Welcome to the pages of LW Mag. How does it feel to be featured as one our illustrious LW Babes of the Week?
I feel honoured, thank you very much. I have always been passionate about modelling so this is great exposure.

What advice would you give any girl looking to get into the modelling industry?
I would say you need to be truly confident in your own skin and lead a healthy life. You know what they say, “ you are what you eat”. Surround yourself with people whom you aspire to be like and influence your life in a positive way. Never change who you are as person because the insecurity you see in yourself is just what might make you famous.

What advice would you give to someone posing in front of the camera for the first time?
I’d say, act natural, be yourself 100%. Try new things and poses even, half of them may feel awfully uncomfortable but it could make for a great photograph! There’s nothing worse than a scared, frozen person in front of the camera. Make shapes in the space you are posing, and be the art because at the end of the day, that’s what a photo shoot is all about.

What do you think makes a photo shoot fun and exciting while at the same time keeping the model relaxed while doing her thing?
The photographer plays a big part in the actual photo shoot regards to the model’s feelings and expressions, the lens sees everything! So by having a friendly fun upbeat photographer who gives the model tips and compliments, really shows in the end results of the model’s photographs. If the model feels uncomfortable with the outfit chosen or the pose required then she should not be scared to tell the photographer. A bit of music in the background is always nice to get the vibe all happy and cheerful, this could put the model at ease.

What end result do you like to achieve from your shoots?
I like to achieve a unique looking photo that will really get the viewer to see the picture as classy and elegant. There are too many average and trashy images floating around these days and I want to really move away from that.

Your shoot took place at a horse stable. Have you ever ridden a horse?
Yes, I actually have. When I was younger and I didn’t really ride it because of the mere fact that the horse didn’t want to move. Every time I moved the reins it just sort of stood there! But nonetheless, it was a fun experience when it started moving.

If you could go back in time, what era and country would you like to grow up in?
I would like to have grown up in the 60’s as this was a time of Hippy and Flower Power in the home-town of the Beatles, London.

If you could take one recent invention back with you, what would it be and what would you hope to achieve with it?
I would take Google with me, as this would encourage world education. Imagine what effect that would’ve had on all the wars and violence. The internet is a powerful tool, it has the ability to overthrow regimes, stop apartheid, spread the word and liberate people, therefore creating a transcendent future.

What gets Robyn’s temperature rising, in a good way of course?
I’d definitely say my gorgeous boyfriend wearing nothing but a cap and shorts. That six pack is like one I’ve never seen before! Mind = blown.

What are your top 5 body parts on a guy and what shape should they be in?
Arms – They must be muscular but not look like he has pumped himself with steroids.
Six pack – I like it to be defined, it must look like they’ve been carved out in steel.
Legs – I love calves to be muscular and they must be proportionate to his thighs.
Chest – I have a habit of pinching pecks, I really dig a big chest.
Hands – An important part to a girl I’d say. I like long thin fingers with well groomed nails.

If you could change anything on your body, what would it be and why?
I would just change the tone of my skin to a deep sun-kissed Caribbean one. Nothing better than a bronze glow.

Being a coastal girl, you’ve obviously done a lot of beach shoots. What was your experience like at our shoot and which scene did you favour the most?
I loved shooting with Neil and Terry (Hotlens Photographic). They are such great guys and make it so easy and comfortable in front of the camera. Lots of banter the whole morning.
I loved shooting the last scene in the water. I was in hysterics laughing when I was supposed to maintain the sultry pose but I was getting swept away by the sea.

What goes through your mind when you are in front of the camera?
Has my boob popped out? My back is bent so far back I feel like a piece of spaghetti.

What do you think are some of the biggest mistakes models make while posing during shoots?
They over think it and become too “posey”, not having enough confidence and being too body conscious. All you need to do is own it and pretend everyone is naked. From then on, it’s a breeze. Back yourself.

Tell us your secret into keeping your body is such good shape?
I do kettle-bell training & boxing. I’ve been trying to get a lot more SUPing in lately as well.

You have 5 tattoos. What does each one mean to you?
My first 2 are butterflies (bum & foot). I was obsessed with them when I was younger.
3rd are the words “In the darkness I hear you laughing” in memory of my father who passed away (my most special tattoo).
4th is a Buddhist blessing on my back that I got in Thailand on Christmas day.
And a month ago I got a feather in the shape of a music note, fraying into music notes. That one symbolises who I am and what I love. I’m free spirited and totally obsessed with music.

How would you best describe the pain of getting a tattoo, and how do you deal with it?
Everyone who has had a tattoo would agree that its addictive. The pain varies on different parts of your body. I don’t mind the pain, It’s the anticipation of the final piece of artwork that keeps you going (while you dig your nails into the chair).

Do you have any plans to get some more work done?
None at the moment. I just had my 5th done a month ago, so not now.

When does it become too much?
I love the sleeves on guys (Adam Levine and David Beckham), very sexy. With girls I think it’s great too, as long as its feminine.

You’re into your SUPing. How did you get into it and how often do you do it?
My apartment looks straight onto the beach. I decided to take up SUPing after a friend introduced me to it. How can I live in Durban and not venture out into the ocean when we have such great beaches and warm ocean, right?
I have had my Starboard Whopper for around 9 months and recently joined Durban SUP. We all meet on a Thursday nights to dice at the Kingfisher. It’s a great way to meet likeminded people and learn from the pro’s.

Have you ever seen anything you didn’t want to see swimming underneath you?
No, but I have always said, I don’t care about sharks. But the day I see a dead body, I’m done. I’m freaked out by that thought.

You’re a self admitted concert junkie. What type of concerts, festivals, music are you attracted to?
I’m a massive Indie Rock fan. I love going to concerts and festivals. Music speaks to me.

What has been your all tame favourite concert/ festival to date?
Festival: Would 100% be Rocking the Daisies 2014. The most amount of fun ever!
Concert: Definitely the Foo Fighters Concert in Cape Town 2014. Nothing like hitting a rock concert with rock stars. Prime Circle are friends of mine, so we went together. David Grohl is seriously the biggest legend. My latest tattoo was inspired by his wings on his arms after that concert.

If you could go to any convert/ festival in the world, which would?
Glastonbury and Burning Man – Ohhhhh Yeaaahhh!

With concerts comes a lot of partying, what;s your hangover cure?
Red Ambulance, Coca Cola.

Pizza. I love cheese.

The shoot was an absolute dream come true! It was so much fun and I had such a laugh. You guys made me feel really comfortable so that I could give my absolute best!

What goes through your mind when you’re in front of the camera and you have to turn on the sexiness?
I’m just thinking about portraying sexiness and femininity while trying to maintain a touch of mystery as well.

We know that you are really into your fitness. How much has changed since you have been focused on the fitness lifestyle?
Yes I am. Everything has changed. My entire lifestyle, the way I feel about myself and the perspective I have on things have changed. I am much more self disciplined and I have learnt a lot about myself and my capabilities.

Besides looking and feeling good, what do you want to get out of it?
I want to venture into a fitness modelling career and promote fitness to professional career women and students.

What inspiration would you give someone who wants to get into the lifestyle but is having a hard time committing?
Take one day at a time. Proper planning of meals and training is essential. Before you know it, you will be in a routine and it will get easier.

What part of your body do you like admiring after a good workout?
It depends on what body part I have trained that day but I like admiring my back and calve muscles because I didn’t know I had them!

They say Afrikaans girls know how to look after their men, both in and out of the bedroom. How true is this and what do you think attributes toward it?
I don’t think it’s all true considering divorce and betrayal figures. I think people tend to take each other for granted and not appreciate the small things. It’s very important to keep the passion alive inside and outside of the bedroom and to make that extra effort.

What type of guy grabs your attention?
The loyal kind [laughs] just kidding. I like a guy who has confidence without arrogance, who takes control and leads but when his lady speaks, he listens with a caring heart and sees to her every desire, and looks after her.

If you were attracted to the opposite sex, what type of women would grab your attention?
A feminine yet strong kind of lady who is independent, who takes care of herself and her body.

If you could be any celebrity for a day, who would you be and what would you do?
I would want to be Kate Middleton and learn everything I could about being a true lady, having etiquette and poise.

With social media being such a huge part of life today, how do you balance it out between normal life?
I don’t post things all day long, I do it once per day and when I post, I make sure it’s something valuable/ insightful/ entertaining. I steer clear from voicing my opinions on social media around politics, etc. and I make sure I am not in a bad mood when I post something!

Training [laughs]. The gyms are a wonderful place during winter as they are almost empty!

Let’s start off by asking you how you’re doing and what’s happening in the life of Noks at the moment?
I’m doing great. taking each day as it comes and trying to lead a more happy and fulfilling life doing everything I am passionate about. I am working towards being a free spirit and learning to enjoy life and all the crazy adventures it brings.

If you could be doing anything else right now, what would it be?
I’m pretty happy with my career choice at the moment. it’s a lot of fun and I’m not confined to an office all day, and I get to meet some exciting people. In the future though I’ll probably will get into real estate or property development. I might as well use my degree and I really do enjoy the property and urban space.

We had a fun shoot with you that required hardly any direction from the photographer because you knew exactly what you were doing. Give us some insight into your modelling career?
I’ve been modelling for maybe 2 years now. I’m currently signed with Model Republic and I really enjoy it. I’m used to my body now so it’s becoming much easier to shoot and the older I grow the more confident I get which is a huge part of modelling. Confidence is key. I’m the face of a Fave Bikinis which is an online bikini store and I’ve entered SA World Swimsuit recently, so I’m hoping all that is going to help me grow, be a better model and expose me to more opportunities.

What goals do you have for your modelling career and where would you like to see it take you?
I think, like all models, I’d love to go international, get signed by an amazing agency, travel the world and shoot for designers like Elie Saab, Balmain and even Victoria Secret. I’d like to experience life to the fullest while doing something I am passionate about.

How do you feel when you are posing in front of the camera wearing next to nothing?
Confident [laughs] I am very confident with my body and I work hard for it so I might as well show it off.

What type of shoot and at what location would be your ultimate?
I would love to shoot on the beaches of Bali, it seems so calm and relaxing which is exactly the type of person I am.

What would a big night out for you involve?
My friends, great food and drink, great fashion and maybe the Grand.

What’s the wildest night out you’ve ever had?
Partied all night, lost my phone but woke up on the beach in Durban. it was pretty fun.

What do you find a turn-on in a guy?
Confidence but not cocky, ambition, romantic, independent, big arms and height and if he smells great.  See, I don’t ask for much.

What bits of your body get the most attention from guys?
Probably my legs and my recently acquired booty (thank you gym).

Just how naughty can you and your girlfriends be?
We’re not that bad. We’re just naughty for our significant others and if you don’t have one, then we pretty relaxed.

You have been involved in quite a lot of shoots and features lately. How has your modelling career progressed since you started?
It has progressed a lot for a shy girl like me. I’ve always been someone who holds back and noticed that it’s never brought me anywhere close to where I want to be. I decided to push myself into doing this one photo shoot for Wildcat and I guess when you first start it becomes an addiction to look and feel good.

You are an ambassador for some really cool brands. Who are they and what are the perks and highlights of being their brand ambassador?
Thank you! Cool is an understatement. Proudly an ambassador for Wildcat clothing brand, Pharmafreak supplement brand and Rockstar Energy drink.
The perks of representing amazing teams is not only the things that you get for free every month  but the fact that you never have to buy birthday presents again. Everybody loves these brands. It makes your life so much easier when you’re financially having a rough month and the only thing you’re sure of is getting your monthly supply. No stress. You also meet the kind of people that can open more doors for you, because of Wildcat, bigger things are coming my way!

Often involved in promo work at various venues around the country. What venue is your favourite at the moment and why?
Sun City, because Durban is too far and I love tanning on a “beach”.

What does a night out for Megan normally consist of?
Strohrum. Would like to tell you about my nights but what happens with Strohrum stays with Strohrum.

You are invited to the biggest party of the year and are allowed to bring any 3 celebrities with. Who would you take with and why?
Lee-Ann Liebenberg – Men love her which means free drinks all night.
Jim Carrey – He will make fun of all the guys and make us all laugh while doing it [laughs].
And lastly,my dance partner, Channing Tatum – Because even the guys can’t resist watching.

What things have you ticked off your bucket list, and what do you still need to tick off?
My Bucket list is: Make a bucket list.

If you were stuck in a guys body for a day, what would you do?
Tweeze my hairy eyebrows, clean my ears, shave chest and area more down, shave legs and just do things that girls would do to look after themselves. In other cultures girls don’t shave anything, so please don’t tell me it’s a girl thing. Making an effort with yourself is a turn on for girls.

What type of guy grabs your attention?
A guy with ambition, who knows when to move out of his parents house, just joking. I guess it’s ok, just don’t want to have family nights on date nights if you know what I mean. A guy who looks after himself, who takes his health seriously, who has a good heart and doesn’t like fighting verbally or physically. Someone who will do anything for his friends and family. A guy who I can have a good laugh with.

If you had to use a pickup line on him, what would it be?
Do those buns come with chips? (With a pervert face).

What advice would you give to any shy guys out there that would like to approach you?
Have 2 tequilas, problem solved. Or 2 Push-ups, your choice.

What has been one of your craziest experiences and would you do it again?
Driving super fast and reckless in a racing car. Yes, I would love to go again. My weakness is speed. No fear.

Another lotto ticket, cause once it bites you it doesn’t stop.

You absolutely rocked your shoot with us. Which was your personal favourite look?
I felt super sexy when we did the Scene in the Gold room. Who wouldn’t love rolling around in a gold room, with camera flashes everywhere? I’ll choose the gold room of glamour before Christian Grey’s red room of pain any day.

What does your daily routine consist of?
My Alarm going off at 6am.
Coffee or Cappuccino.
And the I wake up and work for success while others dream of it. When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful. Hard work beats talent when, the talented don’t work hard.

What is your favourite part of your day?
When I get home, to see a special smile, cause then I get spoiled and pampered like a princess.

You have quite a unique name, where does it originate and how often do people miss pronounce it?
Thanks you, Rejaenne is a French name. Yes, It’s quite unique, but does make up for good conversation though and people almost always miss pronounce my name. I just love hearing them try to say my name…”SAY MY NAME.”

With a body like yours, we’re pretty sure you have plenty of guys at your beckon call. What are some of the crazy things guys do to get your attention that irritate you?Wolf-whistling and guys that yell and hoot from their cars.

What type of attention seeking actually works for you?
When a guy stares at me through a crowd of people, especially when it’s my guy.

Give us some insight into who Mandy Kgobe is?
I am a very bubbly soul, full of energy and shy, mostly when I’m not comfortable. I love meeting new people everyday but precisely hand pick those whom I’ll accept in my personal space. I am a design freak, fashion fanatic, lipstick guru and love fast cars.

What rituals do you go through when you wake up in the morning?
I first pray, get my phone and reply to all messages, ‎then get my journal and write something short.

How did you get into modelling and what do you enjoy most about the profession? 
I was exposed to modelling from a very young age. My eldest sister inspired me with all the titles she won. It all then started in high school where I joined a small agency in Limpopo. Being the naive and goal driven young lady that I am, I decided to give it a second try when I moved to JHB. I met a young lady called Annike Van der Walt who was a student at Kohl Makeup Academy in Pankhurst whom needed a model for her beauty shoot. The photographs then kick started my career in Modelling and I’m still thankful for that today. I enjoy the high level of professionalism and the fact that I learn new things every day.

What was your experience like on shoot with LW Mag?
Remarkable and Priceless. I met very humbled souls that made feel at home. I normally don’t feel comfortable with lingerie and swimwear due to my scar on my hip bone, from an accident this past year that almost killed me, but working with them gave me confidence to conquer all odds.

If you had the option of staying in South Africa or relocating to a country of your choice. What would your decision be?
I would stay in South Africa. SA is a very diverse country that holds historical contents that made me who I am today. Relocating is never an option. I’m currently studying Interior Design and would like to leave a huge mark in fields of design in SA.

In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of living in South Africa at the moment?
According to my phenomenal knowledge, due to some circumstances. South Africa is facing a huge dilemma both politically and socially. Its rather sorrowful to experience such an epidemic as Xenophobia‎ that has also taken lives of many. Life is about experiencing, learning and telling a story. Such brutal killings will be told to generations to come and help them understand that Africa is a continent for all Africans. Overall, I am not for Xenophobia. We are one and we should treat one another equally.

What has been your highlight of 2015 so far, and what are you still looking forward to? 
Getting my first car, making it to the Top 12 of Khosi Nkosi next top model, meeting Lydia Mbayo (‎my agent) and joining “fabulous.com models”, and last but not least, being featured in an international magazine (Essays of Africa).

What makes Mandy Kgobe feel sexy?
A good pair of matching underwear, lipstick and red bottoms (heels).

You walk into a room full of men, which one grabs your attention?
A man with a very high sense of hierarchy and calibre, well dressed, ‎amazing aura, humble, adventurous and smart.

What would you do to make sure he notices you and you seal the deal with him?
I believe in being myself at all times, portraying an image of anyone’s desire is never an option. If he is looking for somebody with similar qualities as me he’ll probably spot them, if he doesn’t he clearly was never meant for me.

What’s your take on kissing of first dates?
I strongly believe that you should get to know a person first before engaging in any sensual manner.

What is the easiest way to get a guy wrapped around you finger?
Showcasing my designs and latest professional photographs.

At first I was a little shy but then I warmed up to it and absolutely had so much fun.

How did your shoot with Lyle Sims come about?
I’ve always seen his amazing work on Facebook, I needed a portfolio done and I contacted him. I loved every moment as Lyle is so professional.

Are you excited to shoot again, and if so, what type of shoot would you like to do?
Yes I am and I’d do any shoot that comes my way just not nude. Looking forward to doing some muddy ones with bike’s.

After seeing the outcome of your photos, has it changed your outlook on yourself?
No, my photo’s are awesome but that has not changed anything from my side. I’m a very selfless person.

What part of your body do you think is the sexiest and why?
[Laughs] Probably my thighs and my bum as I get told nearly every day how sexy they are.

In your opinion, what is the sexiest outfit a guy can wear?
Ooooh, depends if its casual wear or not but I love a guy in smart clothes, pin point shoes and skinny jeans or, if its casual, then high tops and jeans.

Do your tattoos have any meaning and are you planning on getting any more?
Yes I have 3 stars on my foot that are for my one friend that passed away and my other best friend, it was always us 3 in school. My stars on my hip are just cause I wanted something there [laughs], and yes I’ll be getting more.

They say it’s good to do one thing every day that scares you, what 5 things would you do in the first 5 days?
Nothing scares me. I say and do whatever, whenever. I never shut my mouth, I have no filter.

Your shoot took place at the amazing Kloofzicht Lodge. Which scene do you think is the sexiest?
Of course the shower scene! I must say myself that there’s nothing sexier than a girl getting wet and looking good while doing it.

We picked up that you’re almost as obsessed with your boobs as we are. Explain your obsession?
I have always been a boob and bum girl, sexy tight curves is a must! Having some of my own makes me very confident in front of the lens.

Do you have any nicknames for the twins?
Not yet but I am open for Ideas!

You’re into the fitness game. How has this changed your lifestyle and what are the pros and cons?
It’s a lifestyle change. I must say the confidence and the discipline is definitely a pro for me as I love working hard towards something I want to achieve, I’ve always been a go-getter especially when it is for myself. The cons, people expecting you to look like you would on comp day all year long.

What results and goals have you set for yourself?
I usually set short term goals for myself as I work better under pressure and that is how I receive my overall results mentally and physical. My next goal is winning the titles I’m competing in and I would like to compete overseas as well as and become a fitness role model.

Who is your woman crush and what would happen if you were left alone in a room with her?
My women crush is Brazilian beauty Sue Lasmar. She is an overall fitness beaut with a body that I drool over as well. Mmmm… with two dark head bum and boob beauties, things can get steamy…. #justsayin.

I have always been a personality girl so a guy needs to satisfy my mind and I need the feel good factor before I have any interest.
