Tell us 5 facts about yourself that not many people may know about you?
I’m really quite a nerd.
Absolutely love cooking and baking.
I eat a full slab of chocolate a day, at a minimum.
I’m addicted to showering.
I have an angel on my shoulder… but a devil in my head.

How did you get into ballet and what goes through your mind when you’re dancing?
I started ballet at the age of 3 at my nursery school. I continued within the dancing world, placing 1st in all the Gauteng Major Awards and joined the South African Ballet Company at the age of 13. I then began to diversify my training to include Contemporary and Spanish dance.
The greatest part about dancing is that it clears your mind completely. All you think about is focusing on the precision & strength of your movements.

Apparently some professional fighters do ballet to help with their flexibility and suppleness. Do you think your ballet background would help you in a fight?
Yes that’s true! Ballet helps you develop an all-round focus and inner strength. It also makes you very aware of the music and your surroundings, and thus your reaction time in a fight is quicker. Suppleness increases blood flow, as well as reduces risk of injury, you therefore have all resources at hand to defeat your opponent.

What are the benefits of being super flexible and have you ever had any weird requests because of it?
There are benefits? [wink wink]. Photographers often ask to incorporate my flexibility into dance shoots and proceed to pose me in the craziest positions.

When it comes to modelling, what type of shoot is your favourite?
I love shoots that are out of the ordinary. Whether it be wearing a crazy outfit, or posing in the middle of a desert or even a prison. Variety and diversity are key elements to keeping my shoots fun.

What are some of your most embarrassing moments in front of the camera?
The top seam of my corset tore around my bust area a couple weeks ago, and just as the photographer shot the picture. My corset dropped to my stomach.

And your sexiest?
Turning my most embarrassing moment into a fun, provocative pose.

So what qualities do you look for in a guy?
I want a man who is friendly, happy and loyal. I’m old-school when it comes to dating so I appreciate a man who still believes in chivalry & fidelity.

What 5 things are an absolute must for a guy to have any chance with you?
He has to be tall (I’m 1.75 as it is and love stiletto’s).
He needs to be career driven and ambitious.
Intelligent & logical.
Good communication skills.
Happy.

How far would you go to get what you want? (Talking about guys)
I believe that every relationship has two sides. So I will be sure to make my wants and intentions clear, but then I will pass the ball into his court, and it’s then up to him whether to throw it back or not.

If you could have any supernatural power, what would it be and why?
Being invisible. I don’t quite know why, but I guess I’ve been jealous of Harry’s invisibility cloak all these years [laughs].

What are your most used apps on your smartphone?
Whatsapp, obviously. Google maps – I don’t refer to myself as blonde often but when it comes to directions I will openly admit I need a GPS attached to my wrist.

Summer is around the corner. What are you looking forward to most this season?
Being able to run through the sprinklers, splashing into the pool and tanning in the sun with cocktails and my girls.
